As a newbie, I've been trying several different cigars trying to figure out what I like and don't like...mostly cheap ones that I can smoke on an everyday basis. My neice gave me a box of regular Punch After Dinner Maduros for Christmas. I've had 2 so far and really like them. To me they are full but smooth and I like the slightly flowery flavor...if that's what it is.

Someone told me I should try the ERdM's since they are made in the same factory as Punch and in his opinion are a little better.

I'd like to know what you all think.

To my experience, cigars that come from the Villazon factory such as Punch, El Rey Del Mundo, Hoyo de Monterrey, and Excalibur are all smooth and tasty. Don't let price be a factor in trying out new cigars.

Cigars made in the Villazon factory can be very good.

I like maduro-wrapped cigars above all others. The tissure wrapped maduro El Rey del Mundos are usually fantastic.

My favorite Punch line is the Punch Gran Puros which is an all-Honduran made cigar. A puros is a cigar that is made from tobacco grown in one country.

I love the HDM Excaliber #1 maduros.

There are several other Villazon brands that are also quite good. The fun part is trying them all. :D

most regulars at my B&M like the ERdM a lot. I have only tried it once, and i find that it is a really nice alternative to an expensive smoke. I would highly recommend the El Ray del Mundo's in the tissue.

I really enjoy them espcially for the price. Robusto or Rubusto Larga are my favorites.
