The Escuro version of the Laranja line uses the Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper in lieu of the orange hued wrapper on the OG Reserva cigar resulting in a very beautiful chocolate looking wrapper.
1/3: Chocolate, coffee and what I'm coming to understand as the Espinosa Spice. The closest thing in my spice cabinet that resembles this is Cayenne Pepper and Ancho Chile Pepper. The spice fades away as the first third ends.
2/3: Chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla.
3/3: The spice returns and the chocolate remains. Mexican Hot Chocolate, perhaps?
I am really suprised by this one. I've had the Escuro before and didn't care for it. It was my least favorite, by a bit. However, this one was great! It is easily tied for 2nd having now reviewed all 3 variants. I would definitely try this again.
