Just wanted to thank Tasman for the retaliatory strike. Just when you thought it was safe inside the medical tent, someone lobs in a grenade. Nothing left now but some miscellaneous rubble and a bottle of painkillers.

For all that are interested and not for the faint of heart...

The operation was more or less a success. I have a new kick-ass scar to go with my old one. It's about 8" long as they had to literally peel the skin away and examine the problem. After some tissue removal, a tendon sleeve tightening and other work I am as good as new. Well, except for 4 more weeks in a full arm cast, 12 weeks of learning to use my right arm (again) and a year of recovery.

All I've got to get me by is some good smokes, good friends and an Advil sized bottle of painkillers.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words. I'd post pics but that would be wrong, someone might be eating while reading this...

Do they actually deliver mail out there in Cornwall? :laugh: I know in Warren they don't, most of it comes out of New Preston.

Populationwise, you're in the 4th smallest town in CT, with Warren (directly south) being the 3rd and Canaan (directly north) being the 2nd. :0

Can you make it down to Hopkins Vineyard for the Barrel Tasting on May 19th & 20th? I'll be working at the event both days. Alcohol does wonders for pain!
