Spikes Tactical is selling stripped lowers for $89. Figure $65/70 for a LPK, and a stock/buffer tube kit of your choice and you can have a 1st rate AR for a good price. Thats the way I went anyway.

Here is where I am at. Upper and hand guards are on the way.

I have the BCG & charging handle(bravo company) already. Need a BUIS and I'm set.

Just so my "complete lower" estimate doesn't look too farout of wack, how much was that Magpul CTR? :whistling:

Hmm. I have the CTR and the UBR, I'll have to look into (check out) the MOE for the next build. Have you compared it to a standard CTR? I'd be interested in a comparison.

The CTR has a friction lock on it,so it will not wiggle. The MOE stock doesn't so you still get a little play. Also, the CTR has the single point sling mounts.

Brown Truck came yesterday and delivered my upper. Build is now complete. Tried it out on the range last night (along with a Liga Privada #9!! :thumbs: ). Shoots really nice!

Nice build. I'm looking at getting myself one. Anyone have any exerience with CMMG? I looked some on AR15.com but couldn't find a search button.

Yeah I know... I told him I like the look of the wood better, but WTF right? Its still a pretty damn nice build.
