Exile Cigars

Anyone familiar with these? My local B&M just got a few boxes in. Wondering about your thoughts...

I tried one of the perfectos a few week ago and didn't care for it. It was very bland and had a super tight draw. I probably only smoked 2 inches of it. I bought 2 and the other one is resting. I'll try it again in a few weeks and see if it improves.

These cigars are from Al Argenti who was in charge of marketing/sales with Perdomo Cigars. I have not tried any of these cigars so I can't comment on how they are.

Is that the same guy who has the cheesy adds with the bimbo's hanging off him? Isn't there one with him sitting in the bubble bath smoking a cigar. Man I love having a cigar when I'm in the bubble bath.

I was gifted a couple and I wasnt very impressed
Just get a couple before you pull the trigger for a box

I know nothing about them but do recall just seeing them in either the new CI, JR or Thompson's catalogs. I wonder how the heck Thompson's got my new addy ???

That would be Arganese Cigars - I like their Cameroon cigar.

we've had them in our shop for about 6 months now. they are a decent cigar. kind of a cool presentation though....they are individually wrapped, kind of like cello, but its paper. but whats kinda cool is that paper is a print of the new york post the day of the cuban embargo. so they look like they are wrapped in newspaper. we sell alot just because of that novelty factor. we have maduro and corojo, if anyone wants to try any.

Correct. He's actually married into Nick (Perdomo's) family. Not a bad stick, but very much in the Perdomo style of sticks, all the way down from packaging to flavor profile. Again, not bad, but there are more worthwhile sticks out there for the same, if not less, amount of scratch.

Thanks for the info guys... I definitely think I'll pick up a couple to try out before I even think about gunning for a box... Appreciate the help. Keep it comin' if there is more.

It's actually Michael & Al's sister who is married to Nick Perdomo. I had a couple cigars with Al last night and tried their new El Rey Del Mundo Olividados and the Exile. Both were good, but the El Rey was the better of the two.

Edited to change the family tree hierarchy.

These are in the JR Cigar catalog, they were just featured in the JR cigar dutch auctions and sold for only $70 a box. JR has them on the website for over $139.99 a box.

It's actually Michael, Al's brother who is married to Nick Perdomo's sister. I had a couple cigars with Al last night and tried their new El Rey Del Mundo Olividados and the Exile. Both were good, but the El Rey was the better of the two.

Are you Josh, Eric, or perhaps ripping off the name?

Post an intro
