First off I am not affiliated with Corona Cigar Co. I just had a great experience with them and wanted to share.

I decided to order some laser engraved cigars for the up coming birth of my daughter. I thought this was a great alternative to either handing out $hitty no name It’s a Girl cigars. I got to choose the box of cigars I wanted (CAO Italia) and have them personalize them (It’s a Girl, Angelina Sofia Baldi). The cigar price was good and the engraving was an extra $35. Now the only thing that got me at first was the sipping $9.95 was the lowest option but it was UPS ground and I did get the cigars in 4 days.

When the box arrived I was not home so my wife got it and opened it (one of the few cigar purchases she had no problems with) I knew the box was delivered because I tracked the package on the UPS website so I called my wife. I said “did you open them and look at them” she said “yes and they look great but I did not know you bought this other stuff.” I was very confused because as much as I wanted to buy more I did not so I asked what other stuff. Well Corona sent me some freebies a CAO hat, the new CAO Italia soccer ball, nice single blade cutter, and a Smoke magazine. I was stoked to get home and see the cigars, which look great, and all the other stuff.

I just wanted to share my experience with this Co. I think the engraving is a great way to personalize cigars, I am going to get some done with my company logo.

Ih haven't done any mail-order business with them, but DevilsMilk turned me on to their store on Sand Lake Road in Orlando. It is a beautiful store/bar with boxes of cigars stacked to the 16ft. ceilings. The people there are passionate about cigars, including the owners, one of whom I had a nice conversation with while I was there.

And last time I was there, one of the guys behind the counter was smoking an RyJ EL.

I have ordered from them a few times and never had a problem. Good shipping and great knowledge on the phone as well.

Jim -

Sounds like a place to have a HERF for you, DevilsMilk, jgohlke and myself!!!! Set it up and let's do this!!! :)

I haven't mail ordered from them but I did spend a few afternoons at the Orlando store while visiting family in Florida. All of the employees were very informed, attentive, and went out of their way to help me trying to find a certain cigar.... which they did find for me. Nice relaxing lounge.

When we left the store on our first visit my wife had commented how nice it was to actually have someplace that wanted to earn your business.

Nice place.....

Shiba,

Unfortunately, I live a couple of hours from there, so I do't get up there that often. I did herf with DevilsMilk a couple of months ago, when I was up there for business. I know those guys are planning a herf at some point, either at the Sand Lake store, or the one that is opening up in Lake Mary.

DevilsMilk? Is this on?

JK

LOL,

I definately think this is on but was not sure if we wanted to do Corona or Joe's house. And timing so that all can get there will be something to tackle next. So lets take a vote and see if we want Corona or Joe's house up in Altomonte Springs. Either way I am game but Sunday would be the only weekend day I could do this. I work until 5PM on Saturdays. Let me know what you guys think. I will PM you all with thoughts.

I had the exact same experience as Kenny... I'd suggest if you ever get to Orlando, make sure you stop by the store. It's a trip!!!

hey can you post a pic of the job they did on the cigars. This might be an awesome idea I would like to steal from you.

Steve

First off, I'll post a link to the website for Steve and it links you right to the engraving:

Next, living down in central Florida from Feb 03' to this past July, I have enjoyed stopping in the Corona Cigar Company very much. Jeff and his great crew of workers there will help you out with anything you need cigar wise and they are a great bunch of guys as well. Any of you brothers that make it down to the Orlando area, a stop in there is a must........ :)

My wife and I were in Orlando in April. I had he opportunity to stumble across Corona after having dinner right down the way. What a great place. I ended up buying a box of short stories and the manager threw in an Opus x BB cap, cutter, Smoke magazine. I walked away thinking - what great customer service...-:)

I ordered this before, and got good service and it came in perfect condition. the cigar itself was really fragile, so I think they do a good job shipping.
