I am not anywhere near being an expert on cubans but with the different shades of wrapper and the sketchy construction, these are obviously fakes.
 
In '00 and '05 respectively, the 125th and 130th were released in quite limited editions, so it's no surprise that these are counterfeit. Sorry your friend got burnt.

I was just about to link Trevor's site. It is a very good resource for Cuban cigar information.
 
But they have a citrus flavor with a whisper of nutmeg! ;)
 
It's buyer beware. Always do your research before pulling the trigger on cigars you have never heard of no matter how good the packaging or cigars look.

Clever packaging...I can see why it would be easy for a novice to get taken by it. Reminds me of the Cohiba 35th Barber poles :rolleyes:
