Fake Opus X...?

I was looking at cigars on Yahoo Auctions and came across these.

Seems pretty cheep for Petit Lanceros (at least for my area). The thing I noticed was that the cigars have a pyramid shape and I didn't think the Petit Lancero had a pyramid shape. The seller does say they are an early 2006 release. Did AF make a change to the construction for "06 or am I mistaken about the shape?

Dunno the size, but not Petite Lancero's, could be rebanded.

Those are PLs. The price is what I just paid last week for them at my local B&M. They have been pointed, just like that, for several years. The ones I bought back in '98 had the pointed head. I beieve only the first few releases of PLs had the rounded head.

I agree with emo - those don't look like PL's, unless he has a funky lens on that camera. PL's have a narrower ring gauge than those - but they are a pyramid cap.

It is hard to tell for sure from that distance and the camera angle, but by the time those sell in three days there is no telling what the price will be. I wouldn't chance it when you could probably get them cheaper somewhere else.

Just bought a fiver from my boss...IMO, those look pretty good. The ring gauge looks good and they all have a pointed cap.

They look perfectly fine to me and I have smoked severall. Still, buying cigars off of online auctions is a bad idea.

Check his other auctions, these cigars look very legit.
