Guess they aren't so fake aferall...I guess it would make progressive business sense that Xikar would eventually go this route. And I can understand why Xikar may sell it, but does not put the company's name on it.
I have two if them that I got for free. They are very sharp, and cut very well.
I carry them when I am doing things where I am afraid I will lose one of my better cutters.
One of them occasionally comes apart. Really can't complain.
Actually these have been out for a good time now. The Cigar Aficionado review dates back to 2003. This was actually the first cutter I purchased when I first began my journey as it was cheap but still came from a reputable company.
