I am so excited for the antique collection to some out this year.

Does anyone else go nuts trying to fid those great rare bottles of KY's best Bourbon?

I'm a huge fan of the Eagle Rare 17. I'm hoping to get my hands on a bottle of Sazerac 18 this year. My local gets these in but I'm not sure if they only get a certain kind. They had the ER 17 and George T Stagg in stock till early spring this year and I cleaned most of them out. :)

I'm looking forward to it too. It's not available in GA, so I'll have to take a trip to SC to get it.

It is worth the trip

I keep many state wide connections in order to get it. I have even taken private tours of The Trace (good people because I am no one special) and they tell me by mail when they are botteling !

Which they are right now, so I get giddy!

Not sure if you guys had heard but the 2008 George T. Stagg will be 141.8 proof this year, lower than last years highest ever 144. I may have extra bottles if anyone needs one! I still have several 2007 Saz 18's.

I will be getting the Larue Weller as well as the Handy. Should be hitting the stores in KY in a couple weeks the only one not bottled as of last week was the Thomas H. Handy Rye. The rest are ready to go.

Cheers!

Tony

I got my eye's peeled at a couple places in KY. If anyone hears when these ship, please do post so I can get down there and start hunting!

Anybody find a good price on Stagg? I happened upon a sale once for $100 a pop. I don't expect those prices, but anybody know if anywhere that sells it for under $200?

$100 is a sale? I got my bottle of 2007 Stagg for $60 from my local. They also had Eagle Rare 17 for $60 and that was their normal price.

Yep. Even now, when they're hard to find. I was in Indianapolis a couple weeks ago and went into a liquor store. They had an Eagle Rare 17 from 2002(?) and George T. Stagg '07, each for $65.

Speaking of fall bottelings..... :whistling:

Handy is one of my favorites.

It is the least known of the five and probably the easiest to get. I believe it will soon be more difficult as us whiskey drinkers discover what a great bottle this is.

Enjoy!

Too many great bottles and not enough cash. You know I like rye so the Handy is at the top of my BTAC list followed by the ER 17 if I can spring it.

If my local gets all the different BTAC bottles in I may be buying one of each this year. Last year all I could find was the ER 17 and Stagg.

Bye bye money.
