So I have some experience when it comes to FDA regulations. My business has had to deal with the ever increasing regulations since the FDA announced its cooperative in 2008, to slowly convert to WHO regulations. There were major landmarks set with specific dates in my industry, that have since been hit. Now it is almost impossible for anyone to start a business in my industry unless they are wealthy to begin with. When I started back in 2005 you could create a business for a few thousand dollars in that same industry. All foods including produce and naturally grown anything are treated and classified as drugs. It sounded crazy when I first heard about it and even Mel Gibson did a self funded commercial to warn Americans of what was coming.
Since then, the FDA has continually signed more and more of these cooperatives, and many of which are under non disclosures. I know it all sounds crazy but it gets worse when it comes to any tobacco products. There is a reason the FDA came with the thunder recently, and It has nothing to do with American people or our court systems.
Regarding cigars and any tobacco products, the FDA is letting the big pockets who make cheaper quality and poisonous garbage, to come in and take out the process of not only producing quality but also the process of recognizing quality. I can see quality going to an all low with the exception of a few. I know I am not the first to say this but what a shame. I have been stocking up on the cigars I really like because of the undeniable forthcoming reality.
The reality is our obvious commitment to the WHO, in which the FDA has publicly made it known for almost a decade, that they will slowly convert to WHO regulations. It is not about what the FDA or American people classify as a cigar. It is about what the WHO says about tobacco products or any natural plant for that matter. http://www.who.int/topics/tobacco/en/. As we can clearly see their initiative http://www.who.int/tobacco/en/ Here we can see how they are regulating us http://www.who.int/tobacco/control/legislation/en/ and through confidentiality agreements with the FDA http://www.fda.gov/internationalprograms/agreements/confidentialitycommitments/ucm253739.htm We can see the latest cooperative http://www.who.int/campaigns/no-tobacco-day/2016/en/ That is right. The outlines are loud and clear. The only thing you cant see? That which is considered confidential.
I am not here to poo poo on Americans being Americans because, I am American and I believe in America as, the land of the Free and Home of the Brave. I joined and served when i was young just because I wanted to give honor and respect to those who died for what we have today. But this is not something to ignore and nor is it something to mistake with the idea of, "Doing it the American way". Unless of course you are talking about the original Americans that settled this land for freedom for all. The FDA and WHO are armed agencies, and when they come knocking, it is not like you can just tell them to go away. You are guilty until proven innocent. If you can afford the lawyers or even find one that can help you.
Why do they want a tobacco free world? That is a discussion for another day. STOCK UP!
