Fence building Calls For BBQ Cooking....

As many of you probably remember, the wife and I bought a new house back in August. Its sits on almost an acre of land, and with us having a couple dogs, we have been wanting to get a fence built. Well a few weeks ago we got started on it and have been making really good progress.

The first weekend, I rented a bob cat with an auger attachment! Best money I think I've ever spent....well kinda. We are fencing in our entire back yard, so it ended up being about 575 feet of fence. That's a lot of damn holes to dig. But that is besides the point of the story. We made really good progress and got all the holes dug, posts in place and cemented in.

Weekend number two was spent running the wire mesh type stuff that keeps the dogs in.

This weekend we will hopefully be finished. All we have to do is put up the 1 x 4's that run horizontally and build a couple gates. I will post pictures when its finished.

I've got some friends coming into town to help out this weekend and hang out, so I'm definitely going to be firing up the cooker on saturday. I will probably be doing a few Beef Briskets and Definitely making some racks of ribs. No doubt a cigar or two will be lit as well.

Got to enjoy my free time while I still have some, eh. :laugh:
