A fellow firefighter shot me an email about that 2 weeks ago. It had a link the story and if I can find it I will post it. Apperantly according to this article Channellock basically blew the guy off at first and said it would take to much time and cost to much money. Then all of a sudden they come out with the tool. But, WTF, this link makes it seem like Channellock and the fire fighter are all square.
Anyway, IMHO hand tools like that are all gimmicks. Jacks of all trades, master of none. Personally, I carry a nice set of wire cutters, a strap, one right angle flash light, and a small tool pouch with 6 in 1 screwdriver, gas shut off, razor knife, and a small LED flash light.
