First mix of crap this year......

Snow snow snow!!! I love snow! Cant wait for the snowy winter. I think it is time to get my board all tuned up and ready for Snowboarding season yay!!!

But the weather here is cold and rainy, I was late to work today because the DC people do not know how to drive in the rain or the snow. I always wonder why I am inpatient during the winter.

It snowed yesterday morning, but nothing stuck. Mid -40's today and grey clouds over the lake. Lake effect snow storms won't be too far in the future. My golf clubs are starting to gather dust in the basement. :(

I just cleaned off about a foot of snow from my truck. I had to go get firewood, we have had power outages off and on all day and i'm a bit worried that the fireplaces are the only wayt i'm going to be able to heat the house. Well I should say that I tried to go get firewood, I got to the end of our development and across the street was a Jeep Wrangler off in the ditch across the road, another car just up the road a bit and as i passed by a small truck he spun out just as he got by me. Well I stopped in the bank parking lot to clean out my wipers and to turn around. As usual PennDot has dropped the ball in taking care of the roads around here, the development is doing a better job at this point. From what I heard on the C.B. I84 is still closed from exit 34 to the N.Y. border due to accidents.

All of this and its our first winter in the new house up here in the woods, I'm missing Wilkes-Barre right now at this point.

As is the case with our breveren in Buffalo, we consider a foot of snow to be a dusting.

Kids.

I used to live in Watertown for a couple of years and the lake effect snow off of Lake Ontario was madness.
The meteorologist up there used to say "nothing crazy, 4 to 6 inches an hour"

Okay, you're an honorary Erieite AND a classic pro wrestling fan as well!

Was in the mid 90's here in Pasadena today. Still wearing shorts and t-shirts. Feels like July. :)

As far as everyone that is over freezing out there , you can all kiss my arse. We are now without power now for 10 hours and I am charging the laptop and phone in the truck now, Jon, Plains looks really good right about now. Sorry if I sound like I am just venting........ Well I am, but sorry for that anyway, this just sucks. This is part of the reason I left Worcester when I did. Ah, screw it all, this is what I get for wanting a nice quiet life in the woods, right? :(

I just hope this is not a sign of things to come this winter.
