For any of the folks out there interested in the annual beer festival fund raiser in Winnipeg, it's happening next Thursday and Friday at the Winnipeg Convention Centre from 19:00 to 22:00. $29.95 will get you in the doors and put 5 sampler tickets in your hands. Extra sample tickets can be bought there, 5 for $4.

This event is a fund raiser for the Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation.
The Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation was established in October 1996 as the charitable arm of the
Manitoba Moose Hockey Club. The Yearling Foundation is a non-profit organization, which raises money
year round and provides grants to registered children’s charities in Manitoba.
Since inception, the Yearling Foundation has raised and disbursed over 2.1 million dollars! These funds
have gone to over 50 different charities and not-for-profit organizations. Last season alone, the Yearling
Foundation donated over $177,000 to 19 deserving children’s charities.
