Foo Fighters last night!

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Foo Fighters concert at Red Rocks. It was such an incredible experience. My friend Brandon left early, and saved us some insanely good seats. We sat on the 6th row right in the center. The sound was perfect. Truthfully, my ears are still ringing a bit today, but it was well worth the hearing damage, haha. If you are ever wondering “How do I put on a solid rock show?”, The Foo Fighters pretty much embody every basic element of that. They simply do it right. They played non-stop for 2+ hours with out skipping a beat. I was also really excited that Pat Smear (from Nirvana, The Germs) accompanied them on guitar as well. All in all, a lovely night, and it was well worth how tired I am today at work. Some pictures (from Brandon’s iPhone):

I saw them in Detroit earlier this year.

I agree, it is quite possibly one of the best rock shows ever to be seen.

Wow man, congrats ... ever since The Colour & The Shape has been out, I've always wanted to see the guys in action, I'm sure you had more then a fantastic time ... btw, do you have the setlist they played?

I tried to keep track of the setlist, but they played soooo many songs it was hard. They definitely played ALL of their hits, plus a bunch of rarities. I know that is vague, but yea.

I'm not sure, but they might have the setlists on their website. But it might only be for the last 2 or 3 shows, or some deal like that. It's worth a look.

I just smiled. haha. I love the germs, and pretty much any/all 80s punk bands.

Nice shots, and I hear they give a great show. (Of course, my most recent show was pretty spectacular too - Nine Inch Nails at the Wachovia Spectrum in Philly. What I would give to see them both in a festival show.)
