good video demonstrating how to ride quickly and smoothly through traffic. fyi, on the sunday before the isle of mann tt, speed restrictions on the road are lifted and traffic is run in one direction only. david jefferies, if you haven't heard of him, used to be the lap record holder at the tt. check out some of his onboard race videos if you want to see the definition of "balls". link below, because i can't figure out how to embed it...

That is the difference between me and you. I think the man is crazy, riding on two wheels and shit. ehh not for me., I much rather be on 4 wheels, knowing if I got into an accident, I have a much better chance of surviving in a car than on a bike. One on a bike at those speeds, pretty much over. Plus how can you smoke a cigar while riding. damn

I've been to the Isle of Man. You'd be shocked at how many people die every year in incidents related to the TT. Between the yay-hoos that come early, practice, qualifying, and the actual race events, it never a question of if, just how many.

Nice Vid! Reminds me of my runs up Palomar Mtn back in the day before I found the track and started racing. Dangerous...hell yes!

I have seen the TT trials on TV on the Isle, and I gotta say, they are great races. I am not a rider, but can appreciate the skill it takes to be able to handle a machine like that. Exciting stuff, just too bad so many have killed themselves in the process.

They should try that on one of these....

Damn, I saw what looked like pegs from the motorcycle and thought someone photoshopped it.

I used to ride like that when I had my bike last year. Probably a good thing for me I had to sell it to buy a car. Or else I may not be able to type right now :) . I'll probably get another one.

There are but two types of motorcycle riders:

1. Those who have been down
2. Those who are going down

Rode one all through college and was lucky enough to never lay it down. Got rid of it when the first kid was born, and if they wife has her way, I won't be back on one until the youngest is out of college. I guess that's when I outlive my usefulness. :sign:
