Fort Hood shooting incident

I just heard on the CBC news that the suspect in the shooting was charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder. I don't know how recent this news is, but it's the first I've heard of it. (I also apologize if this has been mentioned, work laptop with old browser, and not all the forum features work properly)

Hey you Cannuc, yeah, this is just a bit old now; more so since he was the only shooter. My son works right next to that building and was outside helping within the first 20 shots. Took the wind out of everyones sails because he was one of them. ABC has been doing super followup, and now we find government agencies not talking with each other again, or ignoring the info. One nasty mess.

In a way, I don't know that you missed anything, unless you really like being sad. This will be around for awhile, so you will catch up soon enough.

Yeah, I had no idea if it was current news at the time I'd posted it. All I know is I was watching the news while doing some of my paperwork from the day. I didn't exactly have my finger on the pulse of the breaking news... I was staying in a small town with a population of barely over 200 back in 2001.
