My girlfriend's stepbrother is a Lt. stationed there aswell. I heard some pretty horrific things. Thank God he is alright and may my prayers be with the unfortunate ones.

Heard about this and it sucks knowing it was one of your own. Now they are going to make up another brief about this that I, and every other sane military person, will have to sit through for an hour.

I'm actually surprised this hasn't happened before and more than once. I met a number of folks who were wound way too tight in my time.

Ain't that the truth! I have to wonder if those guys survived active duty.

I got to meet many of them. Up close and personal.

Its a very sad situation! I came in contact with Dr Hasan on several occassions and always saw him at the gym. He was a good Doc and alot of my coworkers around Walter Reed all say the same thing. I guess we all have our limits!

The key is how you react when your limit is reached, he went off the deep end, and brought his problems down on others. What a terrible thing.

Truly a sad event. My thoughts are with the Families that are suffering through this.
