I just got one of these ebay deals as well. Too good to be true!
The auction says spanish cedar tray- not fully lined. This detail slipped past me. I didn't read carefully enough. The rest of the humi is maple. I just bought some spanish cedar and I'm waiting for it to arrive, so I can line it. Should I put my sticks somewhere else? Will a week or so in the maple hurt them too bad? I'm a little disappointed in myself.

naaa, shouldn't, if in doubt, buy a cheap cooler, or pick up an Arturo Fuente humi-bag...

Maple is a very dense wood, It will not cause any adverse flavoring to your sogies. It will however be difficult to control the humidty level.
