Holiday Greetings! President Ford especially enjoyed going snow skiing in the vicinity of Vail, Colorado. He also had a wonderful sense of humor. President Ford will be missed. Regards, knightlaird

The thing I'll most remember about President Ford was that he was the most gifted, athletically, of all our Presidents. But one slip, leaving Air Force One, and the media made the country believe he was an uncoordinated clod. Flippin' media.

Ford was a gifted athlete who played on Michigan's national championship football teams in 1932 and 1933 and was voted Michigan's most valuable player in 1934.
A tip of my "Scarlet and Gray" cap to a man who stood for all that has become "The Greatest Rivalry in Sports"!

A sad day whenever we say goodbye to one of our leaders.
He did a very unpopular thing by pardoning Nixon...turned out it was probably the right thing to do. It saved us from years of trials and prolonged national embarrassment.
That is leadership at it's finest.
May you Rest in Peace Mr. President.
