Get internet prices at your local B&M!

I may be telling you something you already know. I you haven't done so, try this with your local shop.

I'm in panic mode lately with the looming tobacco tax and on a buying spree. I checked around the various sites and found the best price I could find on a couple of boxes of Padron 4000's. I noticed that my local shop which also does internet sales had a comparable price. I've been in the shop before and the prices at the store are no where close to the prices on the website.

I contacted the shop owner and told him that I've been buying from other shops on the internet and I noticed that his prices were equal to those other shops. He told me that if I print the price sheet and bring it in to the shop that he would honor the internet prices but would have to charge sales tax. The last order that I placed cost me $10.00 for shipping, the sales tax at my local shop would be $9.45.

It's about break even and I get them same day.

I'm surprised you were able to get such a good deal at a B&M, especially in California where the State Tobacco Tax is so high. I highly doubt many of my B&Ms would budge on their prices, although fair they certainly do not match the internet prices. They have to pay the rent somehow.

Thats why I posted the info, I was blown away that the guy offered to sell me the smokes at internet prices.
