It's easy to get stuck in a rut .... you know, Fuente's, Padron's, Davidoff's, and other unmentionables, but recently I've been trying some new cigars, new to me at least, that I've received in a couple of blind trades and bombs. At first I thought, humph ... not my usual smokes but I'll give them a try someday. Well as it turns out, these cigars are getting me out of my rut and getting me excited about some new smokes.

It started with the Tatuajes, I originally read about them here, received a couple from BOTL's, tried them and eventually added a few to the ol' humidor. Then I tried a LFD DL Lancero, wow, it blew my socks off and sent me on a mad search for a box, which arrived today and maxed out my storage.

Then today I smoked a cigar from a fiver I received in a blind trade. Again, I wasn't paying much attention to these cigars even though they have been getting a lot of attention here. It was a Don Pepin Garcia "Blue Label" Invictos ..... oh no, I'm back into search mode, I can't believe that every new stick that you guys have sent me are this good

Okay, the Don Pepin Garcia JJ didn't really do it for me but I still have a Padilla Miami, a Cabaiguans and something called a Nacionales W to try.

Unreal ..... thanks again guys  .

Pepin and Litto Gomez products have really peaked my intrest as of late as well. Great stuff.

Pepin, Litto Gomez and LFD DL are great smokes, but not for me. They are too strong! The couple of times I've tried smoking them I turned green ???

All good smokes... I had a Tatuaje Noellas Reserva tonight that was freakin' fantastic. That oscuro wrapper is luscious.

Norcal, I am in the exact same boat. I just fell in love with Tatuaje this week, had my second Reserva J21 tonight and it blew me away. A BOTL here gifted me with that and also a Blue Label which I hope to torch tomorrow. I am loving these new lines as an alternative to the old standards.

I'm fast becoming a "Pepin" fanatic myself. I just had my first "JJ" earlier, though, and I must say I was disappointed.

Holts has a cigar called "Old Henry" that blended by JPG and made in his Nicaraguan factory. I'm wanting to check those out.

I was looking at the Old Henry, I would be interested in your opinion of these, please post a review!
