Whew! Am I ever glad to be back here. It has been the wildest 3 weeks I have ever endured.
1 - We became Grand-parents! A grandson, Jaiden Isaiah! Son and Daughter-in-Law are just fine. He's at Camp Pendleton for a few more weeks. I smoked a Padron 80th in honor of this blessed event.
2 - We came back home last Monday, I find out that I won $200 in the Super Bowl Pool! I was hoping to log on Tuesday evening except for I get this call at work telling me that the President of our youth football league passed away. He was only 40 years old and in great shape. This really bummed me out. We have spent the last six nights with his family for Rosary services (the last one is this evening).
3 - Then, on Friday, I go into work and my Director, two others and 29 police officers are laid off! A first for the City of Stockton and everyone is shaking in their boots.
Well, I need the comaraderie of this site more than ever and I am way behind in my cigar consumption.
A shout out to the fine BOTL, siriusstoogie, who for some stinkin 3-finger bags blew up my mailbox! Thanks man, you did not have to do that!
