Glass tubes - Keep them sealed?

So I have a few The Griffin's "Limited Edition" 2005 in glass tubes.  They've been in the humidor since 2006.  I got them in a trade.  I tried one before, but wasn't crazy about it.  Anyway, I did not open the other two.  Any idea how they would be now?  They are in glass with a cork on the end with sticker.  I opened one this morning and the cigar was still surprisingly in good shape.  Didn't smoke it though.

Curious myself, actually. I have heard mixed things about keeping them in glass tubes, but let's see what everyone else says.

As for myself, I typically leave things in the tubes they came in, with the bottoms screwed off. Till I buy more cigars and run out of room. Then the casing goes into the trash ;)

I've got some Opus in glass tubes and I've always left the end caps off and the cigars in the tube. They seem to be fine.

The Griffins are mild and may just get milder with age.

So send them to me and I'll let you know. :p
