Made a run tonight to get the last bottle of the 12...apperantly my sorta local B&M isn't going to carry this bottle anymore.
Poured me a decent amount in one of my wife's stemless wine goblets, immediate smell of caramel and after sticking my schnoz in the glass I can swear I smell molases/brown sugar. Good stuff for sure. There is a lingering finish of sherry - not over powering just a little on the robust side.
If you've been on the fence about this one, go ahead and pick it up.
