Well,

I'll be leaving tomorrow on a 4 day cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. My wife's boss is taking the whole company on a cruise. About 110 people and he's allowing several spouses to tag along...for FREE. :D

I know a bunch of the folks she works with and most of the spouses that are coming. Several are cigar smokers and I always hook them up when we are out as a group.

Will have to pack the 15 ct Cigar Caddy as I know I won't be purchasing anything along the way. ;)

Now, where did I put those dramamine? :hurl:

Did I mention this was FREE...? Well, as free as her new $130 outfit plus the bar tab on the ship. :whistling:

A free trip to Cozumel!

Have a great time and be sure to have plenty of fluids if you hike around the island, made that mistake and dearly paid for it. still had a great time though.

If you are so inclined, there's really good diving in Cozumel. And although you may not find any good deals on cigars, you could most likely score some booze really cheap! I'm not sure what the limit is coming from Mexico, but perhaps you could pick up some tequila that we can't get in the states.

The diving is probaly some of the best their is, I've dove it before, that is mostly The reason I'm going. Your allowed two 750ml bottles of liquor across the border, but the best value in Mexico is the pure vanilla!! :D

Ditto and ditto. The diving is amazing. That whole area is great - Playa Del Carmen, Cancun, Belize even. But the visibility, reef fishes, etc in Cozumel is spectacular.

Since you're going on a cruise, you're limited, but if they offer any type of shore-excursion which includes snorkeling (or, if you're certified or if you prefer, scuba), then by all means go for it.

Also, go in any one of the shops and get vanilla. Unlike any you have ever had or can get elsewhere.

Oh yes, and then there's the obligatory bottles of Mezcal you have to pick up as well. :D

Edited to add: CRAP! I just noticed the date of this thread after I posted! Don't suppose "Better late than never" applies? :)

Man that was an awesome trip. So did I miss anything... :whistling:

I didn't see the posts about the vanilla before I left, but guess what I brought back.

Yep, a 500ml bottle of pure vanilla extract for a whopping $8. And that was the more expensive one. There were 3 different kinds and this one was supposed to be the best. :)

Not really a drinker, so no alcohol came back with us. I know... :0

All in all, we had a great time. Only lost about $50 in the casino between both of us. There were several people coming back with more money than they took, even after paying all their expenses.
