Going to be in Minnesota...

Hey all,
Going with the family to Minnesota later this week and this weekend.

I will be in Hibbing area (Pokegama Lake) for the weekend. Looking for a local lounge to enjoy a smoke in, if there is any that far north!

Then Monday evening I will be back in the cities (Minneapolis/St. Cloud), and would like to maybe find a lounge in that area to have a smoke before heading home Tuesday AM.

If there is anyone in either of those areas that would like to hook up for a smoke, please let me know. Shoot me a PM, and I will get you my contact info.

I think you're going to be hard pressed to find anything that far north. There might be something in Duluth, but that's too much of a drive.

I'll peek at the schedule and see what's up next Monday. It would be fun to meet you and some of the local BOTL.

Isn't Pokegama in Grand Rapids?? It was when I fished there about a month ago, anyway.

I'm not real familiar with Grand Rapids (or Hibbing for that matter), but I think there's a shop called the Tobacco Den or something like that over there. I think it's on 7th St.

There aren't any lounges or anything that I'm aware of, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

I think I'm about as close to that area as anyone here at CP. I wish I could make it over, but weekends are jam packed for us in the summer. There's too little of it to not make plans far in advance. :laugh: I'll be hiking on the Superior Hiking Trail.

I guess you are right, Pokegama is in Grand Rapids. The family (that I am visiting) just moved there from Hibbing, and I got myself a bit confused...

I will take a look for Tobacco Den or something like that on Google. Maybe something will pop up.

I know the notice is really short. I was thinking I should put something up a month ago when I made the travel arrangements, but time got away from me.

I was out there in March and Tobacco Grove had some great smokes,but the MN taxes are high. That shop was about 25 minutes NW of the twin cities. The other shop on 7th Street was the Golden Leaf. The Minneapolis guys can explain it better.
