Going to Honduras next week

A group of us from STL are going to Honduras on the Rocky Patel factory tour thing. Looking forward to going even though RP is not on the top of my hit list. Cold and nasty here, warm and drunk down there. Some fun people going so why not go tropical for a few days.

Anyone here been on this trip?

I've been to Roatan, but that's the extent of my Honduras area. Lots to do and great snorkeling down there.

That tour is great. Our tour guide was Oscar of Leaf Cigars. Don't know if he is still doing it since he hit the big time. They provide plenty of free cigars and drinks. But won't let you buy stuff you see in the factory. I think you gonna love it. Don't forget you are in Honduras... Stay safe

Been to Roatan several times, beautiful place, small island feel. Never on the RP trip though... Make sure you bring your own cigars... every shop there sells fakes, except Franks Cigar Bar on the west end, but their selection was pretty slim the last time I was there...

Oh yes. Most Cubans there are fakes. Now you may get lucky and find some in the high end hotels. But I wouldn't risk it.
