Just wondering how many people on here are golfers. I've been playing for many years and am pretty decent (4 handicap) and was playing about 3x a week until last week when my son was born :) :) Now, I'm having a blast building clubs for friends and for next year and taking care of my boy

If anyone ever wants clubs built, you buy the parts and I'll assemble for free :) I love building clubs and they're so much cheaper than store-bought and hit just as well.

Is there another forum for this topic?? I thought the Lobby was for any topic? I've lurked in this forum for a while and thought it was pretty dang good. If this is in the wrong place, I apologize. If I shouldn't offer to help others, again, I apologize.

damn guys easy.... yes i love to golf, and im also a caddy at a private golf course where I live. About an 8 handicap right now and love to smoke while i play, one of the most relaxing things to do for me is go out and golf and smoke.

Are you sure you signed up in the correct forum?

Should I have mentioned that I've done dozens of cigar swaps on courses and get some of my favorite stogies strictly for the links? I thought cigars and golf went hand in hand?

Guess you're too advanced for me.

Is this supposed to be "wit?" If so, keep trying. You definitely have a greater handicap than "4" in that department.

But, on the other hand, you might be on to something. You're obviously not "advanced" enough to utilize the search feature offered here. If you had, you would have readily seen multiple threads on golf/golfing.

If you're already questioning what you should "mention," then follow the old, sage advice and READ MORE, POST LESS. And, fwiw, keep your "clever" sarcasm to yourself until you're better known by our fine brotherhood and community.

As stated earlier, I apologize. I did a search and found very little. Also, I made the offer to build clubs for whomever if anyone would choose that route. I know I'm new and no one knows me from Adam, but I was trying to become a member. As stated previously, I am a new father and since I can't go golfing for a while and have already finished the 100+ clubs in my shed, I'm a little bored.

As for "fine brotherhood and community", you've not been an good example. Maybe I was too eager to be a part, but I never expect any of this nonsense.

You need to quickly re-examine how long you want to remain "a part" of this forum. You're right, noone knows you from Adam. Likewise, you know noone else from Adam either, so definitely think twice before you get all pissy and mouth off about what role, or what examples, I've come to have here.

On the right track....

....until you derailed.

Sloooowwww down before you crash and burn on your first day here, JB.

OK young grasshopper, Let me be the little bald headed budda (on the comcast commercials) and enlighten you. First of all I have noticed that you have posted 20+ posts and have yet to contribute to anything more than a blog. If you want a blog, go find one. If you want to be a part of this forum, the try using the SEARCH feature. "It's NEW and IMPROVED" (says in his salesman voice); You will find the answers to ANY questions that you may have.

Next, "cigar swaps" on golf courses holds absolutely NO water in here. If you want to build some cred here start out with a newb sampler and then start small and someone may give you a bone.

I thought the Lobby was for any topic?
You are correct the Lobby is for any topic; but once again, If you want a personal blog, then got get one. Just because it says "Lobby", take heed to the name of the forum; CIGARpass.
TIA

Dude, I am trying to help and not pile on. You cannot force acceptance into these forums. Many here (and not me BTW) havebeen visiting and participating here for years. Showing up and screeming HERE I AM never flies. L:ook at what this is here for, it is spelled out. Read more, post les is always the best way to get eventual acceptance.

Read a bunch, contribute where you can, and remember 90% of us are fat, loney, pathetic losers with nothing better to do than peck cigar stuff on our keyboards, do you really want to be a part of that?

Joey...one word of advice...claiming that MiamiCubano is anything other than an upstanding BOTL (Brother Of The Leaf-if you care to know) is NOT in your best interest. Who is importing these guys lately? I long for the glasstop Cohiba newbies! :)

I'm not interested in new clubs but I definitely need a new jam boy. This one is just not cutting it. Any advice?

Kidding...kidding...I don't even golf.

You can definitely be sarcastic and get away with it. I do it on a daily basis. Not necessarily here on the boards, but in everyday life. You just have to be tactful when you choose to go down that road. But hey, you can get offended if you want to. Just a little advice from another self proclaimed, and after yesterday, openly proclaimed noob. :whistling: ;)

Golf and cigars do go together. The triple crown is golf, cigars and scotch (beer at some courses). Was the offer to make clubs your first post?

just a hint, ive only been here 2 months...and you already have a 1/4 of the amount of posts i have in less than 24 hours...

If you have actually done this

You NEVER would have said this.

This was last covered about a month ago. It was covered several more times before that. Just type "golf" in the search bar and you'll get it all the way back to several years ago.
