Goodbye summer

Fall has defenitely arrived here.Had to start wearing pants this week. :angry:

Wow...summer must be VERY interesting in NC. I saw a lot of folks with no shirt last time I was there, but not too many with no pants.

This will be my first winter with no snow. I talked to my father yesterday and he said they got 2 inches... I had on shorts and a tank top

What are you talking about? Winter camping is the best. No mosquitoes, no black flies, and no friggen bears to steal your food. I love camping in the winter in the Whites and Green Mtns of New England. All it takes is a lot of preperation and proper clothing. My record BTW is -28 and I had a dozen Scouts with me ages 12 through 17.

Glad the summer left. We had only 101 100+ degree days out here in the valley...and now we get to look forward to great weather until late April.
