Got Lucky on Saturday

I was a very late attendee at a Quail Forever dinner. I had to bartend at a fund raising auction at my daughter's high school Saturday night until 8 pm. A friend of mine invited me to a Quail Forever (or some similar orgainization) dinner auction on the same evening, but I told him I could not go until after I was done putting in my time at the bar. I arrived at the quail dinner on their last auction item. The only thing left was a raffle. I bought three tickets for $100.00 and they pulled my ticket on gun auction. Not once but twice. In the span of 15 minutes, I won two guns one shotgun and one rifle. Mind you, they were not expensive guns, but I haven't won a raffle in about never. So, I got lucky twice. Just had to share.

Winning two was off the charts I had bought some lottery tickets for the Powerball but did not win, so this was a better use of the $100 bucks.

Lucky man...good for you.....I'm not a gun enthusiast but if I were to get involved I think it would be bird shooting. It looks like a very challenging sport.
