Well I have been doing my own thing since 94. Making my own way, not working for the man...

The past 8 months have been the slowest they have ever been. If y'all havn't noticed our economy is kind of in the tank lately.

So I decided to go look for employment somewhere but it needed to be close so I can still be able to get the kids to school and pick them up as well.
It had to pay well and provide the benefits that we so need.

As fate would have it I found a great deal.
I will be the onsite phone repair guy for a hospital about 40 minutes from my house.

Some well needed relief is in my futture.
Thank God for this. It is a real blessing.

With this and my existing client base I am finally going to be able to fill up that Vinotemp too :sign:

There's two things people will always need, no matter how bad the economy is.

1) Toilet Paper
2) Healthcare

You've chosen wisely.

Congrats on the new job.

Awesome news!

Convenient that on Labor Day weekend you have found labor to conduct.

What hospital you going to be at?

Two important things to never forget.

1. Users are scum. They damage the hardware and will need you at the worst possible times.
2. Users are your customers. Treat them with respect no matter what they demand. They sign your paycheck.
3. If nobody knows who you are, you're doing your job well.

You said TWO important things and that was three things, so which of those is the unimportant one? ;)

Mission Hospital Mission Viejo
Part of the St. Joseph/ St. Jude system

Cool, I was asking mainly because have an aunt who is a hospital administrator in that general area although it is not Mission.

My oldest boy was born at St. Joseph's in Burbank though.

Grats again.

As for the bad economy, 3.3% growth and exports surging 13% ain't all bad!

Despite the claims of "recession", it just hasn't happened.

Seeing how exports are the main reason that any meaningful growth has happened and the U.S. dollar is gaining in stregth against the Euro and Pound, I wouldn't say we are out of the woods for a recession. Also, with home prices not yet bottomed out and the credit crisis just getting started, I wouldn't say the economy is anything but bad at this point. But, to each his own....
