Gotta Love C-Bid

That happens all too often on C-Bid. Many times I have seen something I want to take a shot at, and some one has bid over MSRP right out of the gate.
 
On the upside, a lot of really good stuff flies under the radar. For example, I just scored a box of Camacho Corojo 07/05's for $67. :cool:
 
Yep, that happens sometimes when the price just goes way up. But, can also find good deals there once in a while.

I noticed that happens at Famous also. Sometimes I think it could be two guys that are pissed off at each other and would die before he let the other one get it. I really don't know why they would over bid for something they could just out right buy! :blush:
 
I have been waiting to get a good deal at C-bid, checking for the last couple weeks, and I've noticed a bunch of the same. They have some skinny Opus X on there right now that is up to nearly $40.

Wow.

I'm sure the deals can be had, but like you guys said, you have to be patient.
 
If you notice, there are a lot of boxes that do not list the msrp. I wonder if they hope that situations like the above linked happen.
 
I should not be telling you all this but . . . hey we are all BOTL and we should help each other out.

Anyway, I have gotten my best deals on auctions that end on a holiday, especially holiday weekends. I would guess that this is because most people are not sitting around their computers around these times.
