Hey guys, heres the newest Joe Cigar deal. I've never tried Gran Habanos though I've been curious. Any input on this one:

Gran Habano Mega-Sampler includes 20 cigars:
5 - Gran Habano 3 Siglos Robusto (5" x 50)
5 - Gran Habano #1 Connecticut Robusto (5" x 50)
5 - Gran Habano #3 Habano Robusto (5" x 50)
5 - Gran Habano #5 Corojo Robusto (5" x 50)

I had a #3 Siglos and enjoyed it. But damn it if I can't remember how much I paid for it! If I remember correctly I thought it was a good smoke, but not really anything special.

The 3 siglos are some of my favorite. The #5's are good smokes too.

I have a friend of mine who ordered the sampler the last time it came up, and he ordered another one today when it came up. He likes a couple of the fuller-bodied ones (not sure which ones), and the more mild ones, he hands out to his friends, cousins, uncles that want a smoke when he has one.

I've tried a #3 and a GR torpedo, and I really was impressed by the flavor for the money aspect.
Now that's only 2, but based on that, I'd smoke em again. ;)

oh, I found them to be more sweet than spicey.
Also, I smoke a lot of heavy/complex cigars. so, I could taste them o.k, and smoked them in the a.m. with no buzz

I have had the Connecticut and the Gran Habano; Did not like the Connecticut but the Habano is okay.

I tend to smoke all of the gran habano stuff regularly as most will probably find they are very fairly priced. With the exception of the 3 siglos and the vl mostly they run about 3-4 bucks a stick or even less depending on the source. The #5's seem to always be good, the connecticut's are fair before aging and sometimes a little sharp but definitely benefit from age, while the habano is ok but nothing special. The 3 siglos I want to say if I remember was just rated in top 25 of one of the cigar magazines, can't remember which one though. And finally the vl, did you ask about that one, O well, the vl is also generally pretty good. If ordered online I would be prepared to allow for some aging as they generally seem much more green than those in the stores.
