Here is my lineup starting with when I first started to play games, the 2D only 2mb -4b cards that came before I left out of the list on purpose.

Matrox GT200 Millenium 8mb + 8mb expansion card (+ 2x Diamond Monster Voodoo 2 12mb SLi) -> Matrox GT400Max -> GeForce 2GTS ->GeForce 3 -> Ti4600 -> FX5700 -> 6800GT -> GeForce 7900GT -> 8800GT -> GTX270 -> GTX470 -> GTX570

I've been well served over the years by the middle class cards from Nvidia starting with the GeForce 2GTS

The most money I've ever spent on Graphic performance was definitely the G200 + Voodoo 2 SLi setup but Unreal looked AWESOME on it

The card I used for the shortest amount of time is the GTX470, but my oldest kid is very happy with her sudden upgrade from her GTX260. :sign:

Hmm, well this is going back a bit.

Voodoo3 3000 PCI
Voodoo5 5500 AGP
ATi Radeon 8500
ATi Radeon 9800 (flashed to a PRO)
Nvidida 7800GT
Nvidia 8800GTS 512MB
Nvidia GTX460

I just picked up the 460 a month ago, as my 8800 let go it's cookies. I would say my most memorable was my Voodoo3; that was the first piece of PC hardware I bought and installed. The biggest increase, hmm that is tough to pick. I would have to say the Radeon 8500 was one that I noticed the most, that or the 8800. I was more than happy with all of them......even though the 8800 only lasted 2 years, the shortest living and also the one that went through least amount of stress. I never OC'd it or modded it and it only lasted 2 years. But it served me well for those 2 years and I got my monies worth out of it.

A couple of 3DFX cards, then a couple of GeForces of unknown model number, an 8800GTS and currently a 5770. I'll probably upgrade to a 5970 late next year (or whenever Diablo III comes out). My memory isn't the best.

I don't remember having a card, but whatever card came with Pong, that's what I had.

Doc.

Ah... meeemories.

I started out with a Rage 128 8mb PCI in a PowerMac 6400...
3dfx Voodoo 5500 64mb PCI (in thats same Mac)
Radeon 9500 Pro 128mb AGP
nVidia 6800GT 256mb PCI Express
nVidia 7800gt, 512mb then another one for SLI PCI Express
GTX 260OC 896mb PCI Express
Now... none. My Asus laptop has pretty robust graphics and I'm done buying video cards. I'll use my laptop for some casual gaming and thats it.
