Somewhere, out there.
After placing my initial thread in the wrong section (thanks for letting me know AVB), I received a sample of Grappa from a generous Brother so I could try this stuff out.

I must say that this is the hottest alcohol that has ever passed these lips (and I've had several servings of 'shine). I cannot believe how hot this stuff is! However, underneath the heat (if you can stand it) lies a very nice flavor. You can rally taste the essence of the grape in this drink and it is quite good in and with coffee. A little does go a loooong way, though.

Other than the lashing I took from AVB ;) , I'm glad I posted a question about this stuff. It's nowhere to be found in the stores here, so I'll have to make what I received last (which shouldn't be a problem  ).

Thanks to the kind soul who sent me this eyebrow burning concoction and if you get the chance to try it, do so.

I still think you're crazy.

Something that's made from the leftover crap from making wine by a buncha nut jobs in Italy can stay right where it is, in it's bottle and I'll never have to drink it. :D

 It's hard to argue with you BILL, but after trying this concoction, it's not too bad. I've drank moonshine that did'nt taste as good as GRAPPA, the GRAPPA has more taste. p.s. I'm almost ready to send you the hundo on the CUBS. They sure are stinking up the league.

I love the stuff, especially after a big meal as a digestive. If you want to try really nice stuff, try either the brands made by Nardini or Poli.

Lashing...me? I'm just the sweetest guy you know too. Must be your thin skin :whistling:

I'll tell you what, there is no way on earth that anyone with thin skin could drink this stuff!

I apologize once again for littering your fine whisky section with the mention of this sterno...(and I mean sterno in the best sense of the word)!

Thanks to your recommendations I may have finally found a single malt I can take. I picked up some Balvenie Double Wood 12 year old and it is quite tasty.
