Went to an auction the other day and I picked up a really nice bike for $25.
An REI Novara X-R. Spent the afternoon tuning it up (with a nice yard gar) and it is in great shape. Need new brake pads and a rear tire, but those are cheap and easy to fix.
It was crazy at the auction. I got this bike, which retailed for around $500 for a song and some idiot paid $55 for a cheap Magna brand that you can buy new for $65 at Wal-Mart.
Amazing what you can find at these auctions. Thinking my vacation time will include some bike riding!
Chubby boy needs to get in shape anyway. :laugh:
