I used the OG Palio exclusively for the first 15 years or so. Magnificent cutter. I probably have at least 2 dozen of them and have gifted dozens more. I still believe it’s the finest straight cutter of all. I just love the easy, perfect every time cut I get from the V style cutter. Lots of exposed filler/binder while keeping the wrapper perfectly intact so it never unravels. Also gives me a near perfect draw with even the most problematic sticks 98% of the time. Even still I do need a straight cut on occasion for some cigars and would love the Porsche 3626 if I could find one
....I got inspired, and started using the Xikar v-cutter over the last couple of days. Huh...this IS pretty cool. Forgot how well it works with smaller ring smokes. Xikar is very sharp, cuts great. Huh. Back in primary rotation, at least for a while.
