Great LED replacement for MagLite

I just put one of these in my old reliable 4-cell MagLite and it rocks..!! Very high quality, very reasonable price. Dropped right in, focuses perfectly, easy to recommend. Feels like I brought my MagLite into the 21st century....

You can sure spend a lot more money, and you can find brighter conversions, but bang for the buck I don't see how you beat this LED. I'm going to get their 2-3 cell version for the MagLite in the kitchen next.

Thanks , I just put new batteries in my 5 cell the other day.It just doesnt seem as bright as it was,
I will give the led a try

Don - if you order it from Amazon, pick up a tube of this stuff - ProGold. It's an amazing contact enhancer, and keeps things bright for a long time. I've used it for years and it's also good stuff.

Be careful...the can run HOT!

Now if you replace the plastic as well...then it helps..but still run HOT!

I have a 2 cell that sits in my car. Had it for about 8 years now and just recently changed the batteries. One of the best flashlights I have owned. Thanks BBS when my bulb runs out I'll be sure to check out this option.
