Tick Tock
***Posted in Cigar Discussion and not in Herfs as this has already happened and not looking to advertise for additional attendance. But now I see that Herfs is for discussion of past events too, sorry, my mistake.***
Dangit, I spent 8 hours at Jack's Tobacco in Milwaukee herfing yesterday, brought my camera and never took one pic! Shame on me.
Anyway, I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Baron Porthos, Satchmo, Cigar Al and a couple other friends yesterday at a very nice lounge. We had a bunch of great smokes, gifted a few each and every way, had nice conversation and a few sodas...no alcohol at Jacks.
To cap off the evening, the Milwaukee Area Pipe Club had their Christmas Party at the same location from 6:00-8:00pm. Now this was an experience all in itself, so much so that I broke down and bought a nice estate pipe, some cleaners, a tamper and was gifted a couple bags of tobacco from some of the members there. What a bunch of nice older gentlemen. Now if I can just figure out a way to crush up a Fuente SG and put it in that pipe all will be well.
I just wanted to thank Cigar Al for starting all the plans on this little herf, Baron for showing up early, Satchmo for getting Al there and everyone else just for the great company. Al, by the time you read this you should probably be back in Boston as you're flight is just about to leave. Have a safe trip and let us know that you made it home safe.
