Great So. Calif. Steakout, Herf & Tour of Edwards AFB - DONE!

Totally into this! I love EAFB. Just went to their open house not too long ago. Such an awesome show....Getting a tour around would be pretty sweet. Count me in. :thumbs:

We have room for more, currently sitting at about 20 people. We can accommodate up to 35 comfortably, 40 would fill the bus. If you haven't sent me your e-mail addy please PM me. Too bad I live in the East Coast. This HERF and Edwards AFB tour sounds great! Hope everyone has a great time.

As for camera's. They are certainly allowed for the tour. Our escort/guide will advise us if there is any point on the tour where photography would be prohibited. This is usually only along the flightline but they will let us know.

Just an update for everyone.

We are still a go for this event and it should be a lot of fun!

I sent an e-mail out a couple weeks ago to all attendee's who provided me with an e-mail requesting information that is needed in order to get you on the roster. Not everyone replied and so I need those people to do so as soon as they can.

Also, we still have room for roughly 10 people on the bus so if you haven't signed up and would like to go shoot me a PM.

Ok, so the jumper cables were a little corroded but after you started sweating so much the conductivity improved greatly!!

OK. We are now at 28 attendees for this grand event and we have room for 2 more at the most. First come first served!

Rod, I still need you to get with me because I need information on you and Ashley in order to get clearance.

In the next couple weeks I will send an e-mail out to all attendees outlining the event schedule and all pertinent information regarding where to go, how and when to get here and lodging information if anyone is desiring to stay overnight locally either before or after the event.

Given certain events taking place at the base this month, we may be treated to a rare opportunity on our tour. Details will go out in e-mail form

As of this morning, May 20th this event is officially sold out!

If you signed up for this trip and have not yet heard from me (at all) then please PM me.

All of you should have received my request for the information needed to get you on the access roster at the base.

There was a last minute addition to that info in that I need you City and State of birth. If you have not yet provided me with this information please do so asap.

I have also secured a block of rooms at a local hotel for Wednesday and Thursday night June 16th and 17th in case any of you want to stay over and make it a more relaxing event.

Rooms are $79.00 per night and include free, cook to order breakfast each morning and 2 complimentary cocktails at the bar each evening. I have sent an e-mail out to everyone on this but again, if you didn't get my e-mail, PM me.

looking forward to it! afterwards headed to Vegas. figured 4 hours back to the house or 4 hours to vegas? which way to go. So Vegas won.
