Anyone here proficient in server 2012 R2 active directory GPO's?

I figured out my initial problem but the one that's crept up now is mapping a drive and making the drive label more user friendly

I have it set up and the gpo applies however the name stays the long complicated path. (Mapped drive to Onedrive for business) I don't want users to see that.

When I am not connected to the domain the drive is mapped with the friendly name.

I would like the friendly name always.

Well, I've got a solution here but its messy. It involves changing a registry setting using group policy as well. I don't like it but it seems to be the only way for now.
