I generally tend to stay away from the Gurkhas, as this cigar brand never really impressed me, that is until I picked up this prefecto that was gifted to me awhile back. I wasn’t expecting much out of it but this cigar really preformed well. It had a nice creaminess to it that surprised me because it was also a full bodied cigar with a good sense of spice to it. I’ve had harsh and hot smoking Gurhkas in the past and I must say that this cigar was a smooth smoke that made a very enjoyable smoking experience, which I’m going to have to repeat soon.

I like a lot of Gurkhas, and this is one of them, but I can rarely get the perfectos to burn correctly.

I haven't tried one since I've been back from Iraq though, so maybe my better suited humidor would help out.
