Guys...You Can Smoke And Live Long

I thought that you were going to say something about tobacco causing ED to which I was going to say 'thank you modern medicine'. You are right, that is a tough one.

I just read the first link, screw Chan. That guy is 107 years old and wants quite smoking. At 107 years, quiting smoking isn't going to let him live any longer or improve his health. On top of that, the selfish bastard wants the governemnt to pass a sweaping ban to benefit him.

Those were cigarettes. If you smoke cigars, you have to go an entirely different route to ensure longevity.

The BBC has more here.

This is 0.00026786 % of the Cuban population. This number probably represents the world's centurion's.

When I turn 100 and they ask me how I did it, my answer will be simple. Smoked 2 cigars a day and had
as much sex as possible. If I'm not around to ask me it will be because I smoked 2 cigars a day and had
as much sex as possible. :sign:

It doesn't. It's more than double that of the US's percentage wise.

(I know it's not cigars, coffee and sex, but it's funny to think it is).

You are partially right, it's not double. The US has 55,000 people over 100 years age. Based on a population of 300 million, this represents 0.018333

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A centenarian is a person who has attained the age of 100 years or more. The term is associated with longevity because average life expectancies across the world are far from 100. Much rarer, a supercentenarian is a person who has lived to the age of 110 or more.

The United States currently has the greatest number of centenarians in the world, numbering over 55,000 in the year 2005. The U.S. number is partly a function of America's large population in 1890-1905, and an increased emphasis on Long-term Care (LTC) facilities. Japan is second, with 25,000. Many experts attribute this (and Japan's very high life expectancy) to the Japanese diet, which is particularly low in fats. Japanese centenarians receive a silver cup and a certificate from the Prime Minister of Japan upon their 100th birthday, honouring them for their longevity and prosperity in their lives. In Japan, September 15 is "National Respect for the Aged Day".

I sure hope my wife doesn't see this thread, i can hear it now "But Honey, i'm trying to prolong your life"...

Hmmm, indeed a tough one. But in all honesty- I am willing to forgo- designer shoes, posh handbags, and my bottle of celebratory RED WINE all for the sake of sex- so heck I can prolly walk on the cigars too....
