Dave... don't you know that South Australians don't speak 'colonial talk'
. We weren't a convict colony, after all. I didn't drink Australian gnat's piss beer either... I wen't to the Belgian beer bar and had Duvel and Leffe.
I had a great day (we are one day ahead) yesterday. We dropped the kids off at Nans, so we could head into town an act like a pair of gourmands for the day. Have you ever gone to a traditional Italian restaurant and dared to have an starter and main? My god... it hurt so good. Nowhere in Adelaide even comes close to the stuff they have there, especially for the price.
Then we met up with some mates at the Belgian Beer Bar, and then afterwards we went round the corner to a little place called 'the Chocolate Bean' which is like a little Parisian chocolate shop, and we all had Chilli Truffles and rich Mousse. My poor stomach was about to split.
We finished up over a couple of bottles of wine at a wine bar with live Jazz.
Good times. Only had time to smoke one D4 though...
