Me and wifey hittin' Pop's Safari here in FW. Pop's is part cigar lounge, part wine celler, and part fabulous dining all smooshed together into one of the most casual and laid back atmospheres you have ever seen.

I haven't picked the stick yet, but it will be top shelf for sure.

Actually wifey and I had a great time at Pop's. I had a very nice steak dinner paired with a very nice Pinot Noir. Then for dessert I brought an Anejo #46 from 2002. The band was great, and we had a blast just visiting with everyone. I could not have asked for a nicer 50th birthday.

Then Saturday, we had a few friends over to the house for a little gathering. Among the several nice gifts I received, a couple of people went in together and bought me a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue. Geez that's good stuff. It's especially good mixed with coke!! ;) j/k

Very nice all the way around. Thanks for the well wishes everyone.
