I heard something at the local B&M yesterday about Pepin "expanding" but no details. Anybody have a clue?

According to Smoke Shop magazine, Pepin is expanding his manufacturing capacity to almost double the amount of rollers, enlarging his box factory, and implementing his own tobacco growing operation. He wants to make sure that he has prime materials for all his cigars.

Currently they have a bottleneck. They roll roughly 18,000 - 20,000 cigars per day, but don't have the facilities to create enough boxes. So their bottleneck is in waiting for the boxes to get finished. They're expanding their box-building facilities, along with bringing in more rollers.

He's hoping that after the bottleneck has been cleared up he will be able to devote more time to some blends he's had in mind. That is something I'm VERY excited about!
