I had a cigar at the local CA BM. It is made by Padilla, no band. The owners said this is a cigar only sold in CA, to help with the taxes. Everyone must sell it for the same price. I can not find any info over the internet on this.

It's hitting the CA market as we speak. We are supposed to get our inventory any day. The CA Bear is a Padilla 1968 in a limited vitola. I had one at the IPCPR and I want to say it is in the range of a 60 ring guage. Hope that helps.

I just purchased a pair of Padilla Golden Bears at the Azucar Cigar lounge before Thanksgiving. I am completely new to the world of cigars, but the gentleman behind the counter recommended this stick as well as an A. Fuente Chateau Fuente. I was told it was only sold in Ca as well.
