Havana House

Well lucky me . . . I get to go to Bakersfield, CA on Sunday for an early morning court appearance. I was looking around online and in the yellow pages and found a place called the Havanna House. There seems to be a couple there as well as in other cities.

Anybody know about the Havana House either in Bakersfield or elsewhere? Is this some type of franchise? Nice place to go?

I am leaving Sunday at noon and will check back then.

Thanks for the info Rod. I saw that that was a popular thing to order when I did my searches.

Does nto appear that there are many people here from Bakersfield . . . not that I am surprised by that.

I was not aware of it being a franchise or a chain. The first one in the Los Angeles area is in Whittier. One opened up in Alhambra about 4 years ago. I only knew of those two until this thread.

Well I got to Bakersfield after driving for 4+ hours. Not wanting to drive there only to find it closed I called ahead. As it turns out they are not the same as the Havana House I have seen online. There is no smoking lounge (in either location) and they are only open until 7pm on Sunday. I did not really want to go there just to buy a couple cigars and bring them back to my hotel so I opted not to even check them out.

Is the Havana House the same on in Studio City? We visited it a couple of months ago, not a bad place but I hate purchasing sticks in CA.
